Ryan played four years of college basketball and graduated from Hardin-Simmons University in 2019 while also earning his M.B.A. in 2020. He became a Certified Residential Appraiser in 2021, initially serving the Permian Basin MSA before expanding his practice across West Texas, from Howard County to Potter County. In addition, Ryan is a licensed Realtor in the state of Texas.

In his free time, he enjoys fishing, hunting, golfing, and spending time with his wife, Riley, and their dog, Benny.
